| Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area |

| The 2.5 km nature
trail winds along a provincially significant marsh and includes several
opportunities to get close to the many inhabitants of this wetland. The
trail also takes you up to higher ground providing an excellent vista of
the Wawanosh Wetland. This wetland is an excellent spot for bird
watching and other nature activities. Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation
Area is just north of Highway 402 on Blackwell Side Road.

| A.W. Campbell Conservation Area |

||||
| Trails crisscross
through the A.W. Campbell Conservation Area taking you through a
deciduous forest and floodplain. Over 8 km of trails leads you along
Morrough Creek and includes a host of wildflowers and interesting tree
species such as the blue ash. The A. W. Campbell Conservation is located
just east of County Road 79 near Alvinston.

| Lorne C. Henderson Conservation Area |

| The Lorne C.
Henderson Conservation Area is a birders delight. Over 5 km of nature
trails wind through a variety of habitats including grasslands,
floodplain and upland forest and along wildlife ponds. Henderson is
located 5 minutes west of Petrolia on County Road # 4.

| Warwick Conservation Area |

| Warwick
Conservation Area includes a short but very interesting 2 km trail. The
Blue Flag Trail takes the hiker through a provincially significant
wetland. Growing along the boardwalk are a number of uncommon wetland
plants such as the Blue Flag. Warwick is located on County Rd. 22 at
Warwick Village.

| Coldstream Conservation Area |

| The Coldstream Conservation Area
has two trails - the trail in the south end of the Conservation Area
takes you through a cedar swamp, a rare experience in Southwestern
Ontario. The trail north of Coldstream Road is a wonderful place for

| Moore Habitat Management Area | ||||

| The Moore Habitat
Management Area includes an experimental tall grass prairie site,
floodplain forest, upland forest and open/shrub areas. This area is
prime upland bird habitat. Four km of trails crisscross this diverse
park. The Management Area is located on Bickford Line just east of the
Kimball Side Road

| McKeough Conservation Area |

||||
| A 3 km trail
winds through a forest just south of the McKeough Dam. This trail goes
through a prime Carolinian Forest which supports a large population of
the rare blue ash. The trail is located on Holt Line immediately south
of the dam.
The floodway channel also provides a 7 km (one way) walk from the St. Clair River to the dam. This wildlife corridor has been planted with 100,000 trees over the last ten years. The grass channel and treed berms make for excellent wildlife habitat. Facilities: parking lot

| Perch Creek Habitat Management Area |

| The Perch Creek
Habitat Management Area is owned by the County of Lambton and managed by
the Conservation Authority. This 200 acres property includes floodplain
and upland forest, hedge rows open meadow and wetlands. Over 5 km of
trails takes the hiker through a variety of habitats. The Management
Area is located on Churchill Rd. just east of Blackwell Side Rd.

| Marthaville Habitat Management Area |

| The Marthaville
Habitat Management Area is owned by the County of Lambton and managed by
the Conservation Authority. This demonstrations for gravel pit
rehabilitation includes wetlands, forest and tall grass prairie. A 3km
loop trail provides an excellent vantage point to watch the development
of the site into a haven for wildlife. The Habitat Management Area is
located on the Marthaville Rd. north of the community of Marthaville.

| Strathroy Conservation Area |

| This Conservation
Area, located right within the Town of Strathroy, includes a 3 km trail
through a beautiful floodplain forest. Reforestation efforts by the
Conservation Authority have made this area a great place to see
wildlife. The trail can be accessed at the Conservation Authority
Administration Centre or at the parking lot across from the High School
on Head Street. There are also links with the rest of the Strathroy
Parks system linking urban parks, arboretums and wetlands.

| Clark Wright Conservation Area |

| This 50 acre
site, donated by Mr. Clark Wright, includes 3 km of nature trails
through recently reforested lands and an old pine plantation. This is an
excellent bird watching site. Clark Wright Conservation Area is located
on Walkers Drive south west of County Rd. 81 south of Strathroy.

| Bridgeview Conservation Area |

The
Petrolia Discovery Trail is approximately 2 km in length winding
through the north side of the Bridgeview Conservation Area. The
loops offer the hiker a change to view trees associated with the
Carolinian Zone, see historic oil artifacts as they were left and to
enjoy nature along Bear Creek. This Conservation Area is operated by
the Town of Petrolia and is located off the Petrolia Line just east
of downtown.
