Ralph Coe will be leaving his position as the General Manager/Secretary
Treasurer of the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority after 32 years,
where he worked in partnership with its 17 member municipalities and
senior levels of government.
Ralph has been appointed Strathroy-Caradoc’s new Chief Administrative
Officer. A long-time resident of Strathroy-Caradoc, Ralph is a dedicated
member of this community. He has served in leadership positions on
several local Boards and Committees, understanding Strathroy-Caradoc’s
business, social, environmental and healthcare needs.
“I am very pleased to welcome Ralph as Strathroy-Caradoc’s new CAO,”
said Strathroy-Caradoc Mayor Joanne Vanderheyden. “Ralph’s track record
as an outstanding administrator and public servant, taken with his deep
roots in our community, will strengthen our municipality.”
“The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority’s success was led by
Ralph’s positive outlook, and co-operative approach along with strong,
responsible and positive leadership,” said Andy Bruziewicz, Chair of the
St. Clair Region Conservation Authority and councillor from the City of
Sarnia. “He was more than a good General Manager for the Authority, he
is the best public sector manager I have ever met. He will be missed.”
“I am very proud to call Strathroy-Caradoc my home, and I look forward
to being a part of its future growth,” said Ralph Coe. “Although it is
with mixed feelings that I leave the St. Clair Region Conservation
Authority, I welcome the opportunity to give back to our community in a
new capacity.”
Ralph begins his new position as CAO on October 31, 2011.
