The McKenzie and Blundy Memorial Forest Dedication commemorates all of the trees planted in the memorial forests over the last year through the McKenzie and Blundy Funeral Home in Sarnia. Trees are a very fitting tribute. They act as a living testimony – a testimony which speaks to the future of our planet. When we celebrate the human spirit by investing in forests, we not only bestow honour upon our loved ones, we also enrich our environment by helping to fulfil the urgent need for green space.
Over the last 25 years more than 6,500 trees have been dedicated in memory of loved ones at the McKenzie and Blundy Memorial Forests. In addition to the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area, trees have been planted at the Perch Creek Habitat Management Area, also in the City of Sarnia.
