Invasive Plant Awareness

Photo Credit: Hayley Anderson. Spread of the invasive lily-of-the-valley

Invasive Species are a constant threat to the health and conservation of the environment. The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority (SCRCA) has worked with gardeners and plant retailers to promote invasive plant awareness and encourage the use of native plant species in our watershed. It is important that awareness and education on invasive plants and their native plant alternatives continues to be raised.

Funded through the support of the Invasive Alien Species Partnership Program, Environment Canada and the Job Creation Partnership Program, Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
