You may also want to bring a refillable water bottle. We will provide the snacks!

SUMMARY:2026 A. W. Campbell Maple Syrup Festival
DESCRIPTION:Maple Syrup Festival at the A.W. Campbell Conservation Area\nThe A.W. Campbell Maple Syrup Festival will be held on Saturday\, March 21st from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (one day only). Interpretive staff will be on hand at the Festival to demonstrate the importance of this liquid gold in the lives of First Nations people and early settlers. You can even learn how to tap a tree! \nIt takes cold frosty nights and bright sunny days for sap to flow from the trees. Weather cooperating\, visitors may have an opportunity to taste sap straight from the tree. Hands-on displays will be available for visitors to experience the pioneer sugar bush lifestyle.  \nWhat to Expect: \n\n\n\n\n\nWe are asking all attendees to park at the Brooke-Alvinston-Inwood Community Centre Complex and our Shuttle will bring you to the Festival. We apologize for any inconvenience but we are minimizing vehicles in the park at this time\nActivities:\n\n\n\nHorse-drawn wagon rides (daily between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm)\nHands-on demonstrations of historical maple syrup production methods by SCRCA Education Staff\nBooths hosted by local community groups and organizations – more information coming soon!\nMaple taffy!\n\n\n\n\nPlease be prepared for muddy conditions\nPlease advise the gatehouse staff of any mobility challenges. \nAlvinston FireFighters Association is hosting their annual Pancake Breakfast at the Brooke-Alvinston-Inwood Community Centre Complex on the same day – we encourage you to participate in both activities!\n\n\n\n\n\nPrice for the Festival is $5 per person\, but those five and under are free! *CASH ONLY \nThe A.W. Campbell Conservation Area is located at 8477 Shiloh Line in Brooke-Alvinston. The Conservation Area is 3 km northeast of Alvinston off Nauvoo Road (County Road 79).
