 **CANCELLED - After careful consideration and discussion\, the SCRCA has m
 ade the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 Maple Syrup Festival schedul
 ed for March 21st and 22nd\, amid the COVID-19 pandemic.\n\nThe health and
  safety of our staff\, visitors and guests is of utmost importance. We wou
 ld like to thank all those who have supported the Maple Syrup Festival ove
 r the years\, particularly the Alvinston Firefighters Association. \n\nWe 
 look forward to welcoming you next year to the A.W. Campbell Conservation 
 Area for our 2021 event.**\n\nThe A.W. Campbell Maple Syrup Festival will 
 be held on March 21 - 22\, 2020 from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Interpretive staff
  will be on hand at the Festival to demonstrate the importance of this liq
 uid gold in the lives of First Nations people and for pioneers. You can ev
 en learn how to tap a tree.\n\n\n\nIt takes cold frosty nights and bright 
 sunny days for sap to flow from the trees. Weather cooperating\, visitors 
 may have an opportunity to taste sap straight from the tree. Hands-on disp
 lays will be available for visitors to experience the pioneer sugar bush l
 ifestyle. After the demonstrations\, there are beautiful trails to explore
 .\n\n\n\nRemember to be prepared for the mud.\n\nAdmission to the Conserva
 tion Area is $5.00 per car.\n\nThe A.W. Campbell Conservation Area is loc
 ated at 8477 Shiloh Line in Brooke-Alvinston. The Conservation Area is 3 k
 m north-east of Alvinston off Nauvoo Road (County Road 79). For more infor

 traditional pancake and sausage meals at the nearby (5 min drive) Brooke-A
