The St. Clair Region Conservation Foundation has made the difficult decision to close Greenhill Gardens located on Wilkesport Line in the Township of St. Clair for the foreseeable future. The closure will be effective June 16th, 2025.
The decision was made due to unforeseen and ongoing challenges including vegetation management, infrastructure concerns, and limited staffing and resources which have made it increasingly difficult to maintain the property to the standards expected by the community and visitors.
Events and other bookings have been fully refunded using the original form of payment.
Greenhill Gardens was acquired by the St. Clair Region Conservation Foundation through a donation by the Robson family. The property, located on the corner of Wilkesport Line and Indian Creek Line, features a 2.4-hectare (6 acre) garden, 7.7-hectare (19 acre) woodlot, and 30 hectares (74 acres) of agricultural land.
