The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority (SCRCA) is now accepting applications for its 2026 scholarship program, supporting local students pursuing careers in environmental fields.
The SCRCA will award up to four scholarships, two valued at $1,000 and two at $500, to graduating high school students continuing their education in disciplines such as biology, ecology, geography, forestry, agriculture, and fish and wildlife studies.
Eligible applicants include students residing within the SCRCA watershed or attending secondary schools in the following communities:

- Petrolia
- Wallaceburg
- Dresden
- Strathroy

Established in memory of Archibald W. Campbell, Tony Stranak, and Mary Jo Arnold, these scholarships are made possible through generous donations to trust funds managed by the St. Clair Region Conservation Foundation.
“These scholarships are an investment in the future of our region,” said Ken Phillips, General Manager of the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority. “By supporting students who are passionate about the environment, we’re helping to foster the next generation of conservationists who will protect, restore and sustain our natural environment for years to come.”
