Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup

Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup

Participate in this year’s Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup at Centre Ipperwash Beach and be a part of a nation-wide volunteer shoreline cleanup! Shoreline litter is a serious environmental concern, impacting wildlife, water quality, and cleanliness. Shoreline litter can also disrupt the local ecosystem and pose serious health and safety risks to humans. The Municipality of Lambton Shores is co-hosting the event with St. Clair Region Conservation Authority and will be providing gloves and garbage bags. Come on out and make a difference in your local community!

About Us

The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority is located in southwestern Ontario and includes the Sydenham River watershed and smaller watersheds draining directly into southern Lake Huron, the St. Clair River, and northeastern Lake St. Clair.

The Conservation Authority implements programs to reduce the risk to life and property from flooding and erosion; water and land stewardship; forestry; wildlife habitat creation and outdoor recreation.
