Spring Water Awareness Program Helps Students Become More Aware of the Power of Water

Union Gas donated $5,000 today to the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority (SCRCA) for its Conservation Education Program. “Through this program, we educate our youth about the importance of our natural world. We reach out to students with a simple message – what can you do to protect our watersheds? Over 25 programs have been developed to introduce students to nature and to empower them to make a difference,” said Sharon Nethercott, Conservation Education Coordinator for the SCRCA.

This donation will be used to support the Spring Water Awareness Program which teaches elementary school students in the St. Clair Region to be more aware of the power of water, especially during spring thaw.
